Reasons to Be Cheerful

Part of my IAS module was to write for and submit to competitions.  I had largely forgotten about most of it; this morning, I got an email saying I had won second prize in their competition.  Their results will go live this afternoon - so, we will have to see how this has been received.  I will be very pleased when I see it.
