I think it sums up the human condition. I am guilty of the former (I am automatically cheered up by the sardonic cats from 'Cheezburger'), but avoid the latter - I don't feed the trolls and I walk away from arguments. Hence the comment screening on my journal.

I appreciate the irony - human beings have the keys to the biggest library in the world and what do they do?
