Well, I suppose it is because he knew him so well - he probably meant all the 'normal' time they had spent together, chatting about kids, bread making etc. It was a complicated relationship, that's for sure. I DO wonder what it would've been like if Lennon was still alive today - would Paul be as popular? Would've John stayed with Yoko? Would any new music soar or tank?
