No, it is the other way round. I am showing how the Bluebeard story has changed over the generations, from Perrault/Grimm to 'Jane Eyre' and finally Carter. People see Carter's tale as an adult fairy tale, because they are viewing it from self-aware modern-day eyes. What Carter does is actually stop the over sanitisation of the fairytale and actually remind people what these cautionary tales are REALLy about. It is a social observation project really.
