I just love this cartoon, found by Shakespeare Geek HERE - sorry about the size but it needs to be this big to fully appreciate the picture :-)

John Varley described a condensed version of Titus Andronicus: The entire cast lines up facing each other, and at a signal (I would suppose blowing a whistle) everyone whips out a sword and they begin hacking each other to pieces.

I feel very keenly that I do not actually need to see the play now.
