The three I'm working on now. I want to mention again how much I am enjoying this method of having 3 pieces available to work on simultaneously. I'm thinking about getting out a couple more books to work in so I can have five to choose from to work on. I can come to my table and figure out then where my muse feels pulled to work.
I had a wonderful visit with Mallory's camera yesterday. Lunch at the Edinboro Market Cafe. Then a walk around a little park nearby and over to the hippy/Indian shop. I got a cool banner kind of thing made out of sari material. I already have so many things hanging from my door frames, windows and ceilings I don't know where I'll put it but I liked it anyway. I'll find a place. I asked her if she wanted to look at one of my books of paintings and she actually looked at each page. Not that many people will. Some flip through a few pages and then put it down. I know it is a lot to ask someone to put the time into looking at one with me talking about different pages as they go along and I've come to not really expect it. I appreciate those people who will! After that we went down to the Lake and sat on the grass and talked a while more.

Some fancy and delicious chocolates that Mallory's gifted to Dave and me. They were gone 10 minutes after I got home.
Today after the morning rain passed Candy and I hiked at Two Mile. About the time we got done hiking it rained (hard) again. I volunteered to go with her to Walmart and help her get a pedestal fan. We had lunch at Valley Dairy first. When we got back to her house I helped her put the fan together. Now-a-days they don't even give you a piece of paper with directions on it in the box. They want people to take a picture of a QR code on the outside of the box (with a smartphone) that will then take you to youtube so you can watch a video of how to put it together there. But what if you don't have a cell phone? Or all that kind of modern stuff is foreign to you? Older people are getting phased out of even being able to easily put together simple stuff that they buy.
I'm watching an odd show on netflix called "Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories" and enjoying it. Also watching Son of a Critch - liking that too..
Tomorrow is July! Earlier I was thinking that I'd start letting the smaller chickens out to mix with the older chickens in July. They aren't "little" anymore. Once I do that things will get unpredictable though. I can remember in 2020 when I let the last batch of younger chickens out to mix with the oldies. One of the dominate older chickens wanted to roost in the little house and the littler guys were afraid to go in at night to be with her. I had to move everyone around by hand at nightfall night after night to make sure they were locked safely up. Anyway, I want the littler ones to stay in their own house in the mornings and eat their grower mash for a while longer so I might wait another week. Especially on the first day that I let them out I want to be able to watch them closely and right now it's too wet to sit outside.

We're getting that weird yellow light that you get on rainy summer evenings right now. The sky is tinged pink.
