Locked Out

Starting to panic - PC is refusing to load my profile. It is not the password as it is not coming up with that error message. It says it has failed to load. Hubby and Prodigal 2's profile is ok, so what has been corrupted in mine? Had the presence of mind to upload all work bar 'A Passage to India' 2 days back - I am praying that everything is ok on my memory stick.

It's about time I replaced the computer anyway, but not whilst my coursework remain locked on it :-(

It just came up with the message that the profile has failed to open.

J (husband) has managed to get into administration, form a new profile - now the files have been transferred across. All the other user passwords are ok, not sure why this happened :-/

We've managed to get in another way and set up a new profile. My old one recognises the password, but refuses to load. I have had this PC for over 3 years and it's been temperamental since day 1.

Plus a month or so ago, when iTunes uploaded afresh, something screwed up one of the registry keys. I can't afford to drop kick this one until my coursework deadline Jun 2nd.
