Teddy

Today I took a hint then my car to a car wash. To others it may seem grubby, but to me it is the preverbial sieve - hence the reason why it is not washed often. I have managed to patch up most leakages, but found to my cost where the car is leaking again. I am too broke to get another second hand car and she is at least road-worthy.
I bought some art gear for my film project,m then ventured out to St Buryan and Sancreed. I visited the church then the iron age site Carn Euny
St Buryan Church Pix are HERE and Carn Euny Pix are HERE

To reward myself for getting through J's op AND working on my Tim Burton project, I bought Sparky (from Frankenweenie 2012). Did I ever mentioned growing up at any stage? No - because I haven't LOL :-)
Re the car - it might have to be remedied via duct tape etc. I am most certainly not flushed with cash at the moment. I have changed where I park it, so it is up near a wall and is sheltered from the worst of the weather. Stops it rusting out quicker.
The links are now remedied! Thanks Looloo xx

Hazlitt was one of my 'discoveries' in those days... but of course we didn't have Wikipedia...so I'm off to read up on this lovely and busily productive writing person.
I do hope Teddy's owner comes back for him, he might feel a bit lonely..maybe the flower ladies will know who loves him?
And a closed inner church with oh - yummy a wooden door. Have they got carved choir seats? And plain window glass which is SO much more attractive thah ghastly Victorian stained glass...that always seems so... empty somehow. I do love old glass windows.

I like thinks that have texture, I love layers and unusual things. I really want to go to the Margate Shell Grotto - I saw it in a magazine and I could really sense where the rough/smooth edges were, as if I am touching them.
I think Ted is their to distract the younger, more fractious members of the congregation. I think the pews were largely plain, though I will look at the photos I didn't upload and see if they were carved.
(Takes a look) No, they were plain.
Our local church has some nice stained glass in it. However, for some reason, I haven't been able to catch it at the right time. Will try again at some point :-)
