50 Day Meme Challenge 2015 - Day 11

11. What is the strangest thing you believed as a child?

The monster under the bed - oh and in the wardrobe.  Or behind the curtains.  I slept with the light on a lot.

When I was a kid I knew I wanted to be a science-fiction author. It wasn't until this morning that I realized why.

Is it about 'social lying' - where people have to be civil or an almighty war would break out, or lies on a bigger scale - where people are protecting their ass as well as unrealistic ideals?

It was about lying to push an agenda, to shut me up, to hurt me, or, in extreme cases such as my mother, just to be making conversation.
