Ulysses - More of the Same

Well, you get my general gist - time to leave the social media alone for a while and get to grips with this thing.

17:03
Done with 'Nausicaa' for now - moving on to 'Circe' now and have to write legitimate argument for that, too.  The main frame is gutted out, just need to furnish it with actual text.  All this catholic guilt!!!!  The plus side is that I posted on the Uni forum that 'Ulysses' is a little-known ancient Greek word for 'Agony'.  Two replied - one said she was glad that she wasn't the only one doing Ulysses, the other said that she is 1,100 words in and totally sleep deprived.  Oh and she is on day 5.  Our own little epics :-)

I have just read through 'Circe' more thoroughly.  I normally pride myself on being open-minded and relatively modern in outlook - all I can say is WTF??? I mean - seriously???  Why am I having such a reaction to it? I can understand why it was banned...but so much of it is so confusing.  So many things going on.  For those not familiar with the text, a summary is HERE.  I truly do not mean to be twee about it - I just find the whole thing disconcerting.

Saying that, I think I am done for the night. Toe feels like it has exploded and I need to sort out my extenuating circumstance form.

Love the owl! How cool is that?

Have had quite a bit of owl symbology presented to be recently - the divine reminding me to be wise, rather than merely canny :-)

I still think that owls are my spirit guide. I adore owls.

I aligned myself more with crow energy, but I pay attention to what other animals that a presented to me. I was presented with a wasps' nest in 2013 and rather than kill them, I let them be, fascinated by their hard work and teamwork. They didn't start to get a bit lairy, until the autumn came and they were boozed up on apples. Still, we left them to fight it out and they all died off, leaving room for another queen - who presumably hibernated and then went elsewhere to make a nest.

It's fun to let nature be and just observe it along the way. there's a lesson in it for all of us.

Love the owl, he's very - purposeful!

(and very very elegantly beautifully made)

He is lovely - I have been seeing owls in dreams and randomly in videos. Will post another later as they are so gorgeous :-)

I just checked on the symbolic meaning of Owls...
https://www.google.fr/search?q=The+symbolic+meaning+of+%27owls%27&rls=com.microsoft:en-GB:%7Breferrer:source?%7D&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&gfe_rd=cr&ei=Ti-TVtKdK5Hu8wef9JGQCg&gws_rd=ssl

And I think these meanings are VERY appropriate for you!!! Fascinating!

Lots of meanings but they all apply! Teehee, and CHEERS you 'Wise Woman!'

I have only two owl icons. this one, which was pretty as well, and another saying 'FUCK OFF'... which I haven't been able to use hardly at all! So I don't think Owl symbolism would apply to me. Mine are usually ladybirds!

Ladybirds are beautiful. When I was a kid, there was a swarm of them one summer - they all collected in one place in the backgarden, like little crawling baked beans :-)

They're supposed to be the symbol of 'luck'. So that's something, I spose. I just love their little black legs and how CLEVER they are not to get them all in a tangle!

Colorado Beetles are pretty too...but NOT their disgusting babies... eewwww.
