Oh I SO agree!!! that other stuff is such a waste of LIFE!!! (the French (especially the females) are so PRONE....gaaahh. (and my icon doesn't look like I'm SEERIUS about things... teehee!)
There's a step down from the foyer to the rest of the house..all the houses in the subdivision are built that way.
In any case, we have ceramic tile floors through the house. So when I stepped down to get water fro the kitchen, the floors were still a bit wet from where the cleaning lady had just mopped. My foot slipped and down I went, and hit my head on the sharp edge were the two cut tiles meet at a 90 degree angle.
No alligators, but about a 3 inch gash on my head, and a nifty concussion, as I knocked myself out and was a bit out of it for about 20 minutes. Go me lol!

Concussion and 12 staples and hella sore. And it took forever to get the blood out my hair, meh.
