50 Day Meme Challenge 2015 - Day 9

9. What is your strongest sense? If you had to give one up, which would it be?
I have acute hearing which has only dimmed slightly with age. I can still here the train over a mile away by the way that the track hums.  I cannot abide places that have bad accoustics (our local pizza hut has a real problem).  Which sense would I do without? Probably sense of smell.

Oh Rosie, I have the same problem. Anything too loud and I'm DEAF! I can't decipher words in a very noisy room. But I can hear the electric wires in the wall near my bed start whirring to switch on the heater - and they are in a separate secret dungeon two walls away from me somewhere in the Nurses' Clinic. And running water hidden away... I'm always looking for leaks!

I think I wouldn't mind losing 1. (can always type or write). 5. I already have I think. 3. I can use my feet and teeth - and nose to turn pages. so keep 2 for my reading, now that I've discovered my new eyes are SOOO precious, and 4. for my music and other people talking. Can't choose between losing either of those. What a clever drawing!

We have faired pretty well, though a cafe up the hill had severe damage to it's roof and electrics. Think Wales and northern Scotland got it worse than we did.
