Silencing of Radio Birdsong

I have switched on DAB radio, to find that LBC is now on air (which is great if it doesn't start to sound like a Jeremy Kyle-esque freak show).  Yet again, they have ditched Radio Birdsong A-GAIN !! Why can't they just set up a permanent station for it? Allegedly, half a million people listen to it, yet according to the inverted snobbery of Glyn Jones from Digital One it is only journalists, not REAL listeners who tune in. Thirty six minutes, fifty six second loop tape of the Wiltshire countryside circa 1991.  Even Sir Terry Pratchett listens to it, so why chop it off? Gimmee back my birdsong!!!
