3) Night or Day?

I am not a night owl, I grew out of being a nightbird when my children were born. I usually keel over by ten o'clock at night, yet I am not a particularly early-riser.  Anything before seven o'clock in the morning is still the middle of the night for me. So, middle-of-the-day person - catch me midway between waking and sleeping, somewhere around 2 in the afternoon will do :-D

I think that the degree is doing much the same. I have to do Auteur Theory today for my Contextual Study of Film module (basically figuring out what impact a director has on each film). I will be watching Tim Burton films and making notes on themes, imagery/symbols etc. Not an altogether bad day - Burton is my favourite director, but I have a feeling I will be a bit cross-eyed by the end of the day.

To a point, but I don't like being absolutely broke. Because I had a bohemian upbringing and a disrupted education, I have had to work tin pot jobs for bugger all money. Then I married and worked with Hubby, so I have good office skills.

When I have got my degree, then I feel that I have more chances in better work than I have up until now. I do enjoy my degree work and I think it is fair to say I am driven - now I have all the opportunities that were lost to me.

I know - work in this day and age is never guaranteed, but statistically, my chances are higher with an academic education...I hope.
