The 'Stephen Fry' connection is definitely bound with my education. Never really thought of him much til 'QI' started, then I was hooked. I just love his word play (there, I've said it). The music is a welcome addition.
The car saga is a nightmare, primarily because of where we live. I am looking for a Polo/Golf/Whatever hatchbak thingummy around the £2,000 - 3,000 mark. All the better possibilities are in Plymouth. Because I am in the last month of doing my work, I haven't had tme to search properly and J isn't well enough to travel far (he has had two cancellations re his corrective op and it is rescheduled again for this week).
I only got £43 for her, which is sad, plus I am waiting for the road tax to come back on it. Other than that, I am reliant on J to drive around, then I have got his car until he has fully recouperated enough to drive again.
