Yesterday, I visited Prodigal 2 who is working on Tresco as a KP at the moment. He was very pleased to get some of his belongings that I managed to cram into my humble rucksack - a 12 inch fan, a eagle pendant, a pair of size 11 yellow converses, a keyring, a laser pointer, 2 shirts, 3 packs of neon boxers and a phonecover for his new mobile.
Tomorrow, I will upload some film footage of the main island, St Mary's - filmed from the Scillonean. Well worth the trip, albeit with sea sickness tabs.
Today, I went to Plymouth by train and picked up the free set books and our Amazon £50 token. I also picked up the books for 3 others - the lecturers neglected to inform me to pick up a travel case. There were 20 books all told and 2 were massive!!
I weighed the books to find that I had carted round 25lb between Plymouth Uni and the train station, then over a bridge at my designated stop, to the car park. Jeez - nearly 2 stone in weight!!! I will be disseminating them on the 9th July when we get our results, then pile off down the pub - they owe me a drink at the very least.
