Three Naughty Seagulls - Day Whatever
Jan. 27th, 2014 04:54 pmI have managed to write nine story boards - am down to nearly finishing storyboard nine, then need to attempt ten and eleven (twelve has already been done). Trying to get this to rhyme as well as keep it simple has been really quite tough. If anyone thinks that writing children's stories is a piece of cake - think again!!! Also, you have to keep it relevant and appropriate. I will have to illustrate as well - I am thinking along the lines of the following birds:

Feathers McGraw from Wallace and Gromit's The Wrong Trousers

Or the seagulls from Finding Nemo
A kind of homogeneous melding of both (plus, I am an ok cartoonist i.e. 2D - not so hot as a full scale artist). Before I sketch anything out, I want to submit the story to my lecturer first - I don't want to spend time drawing and laminating it, only to find that she isn't keen on it.
18:20
I have finished writing the story and have printed it off. I now have to write a commentary as to how I did it, so I will write the framework down. However, I want to wait until tomorrow to write the commentary in full - mostly because I want to see if I will have to change/improve on it somehow. I can't write a commentary on stuff I have edited out LOL :-)
