Yes - he was amazing and he portrays India, the Indians and the Anglo Indians in fairly balanced light. I read it back in August, have recently covered it in class. I now have to knock out an essay - a biggie, too (2,000 - 3,000). Discuss E.M. Forster's portrayal of India in 'A Passage to India'
It's clear that I will have to sit and reread the book again - possibly with the film adaptation so I can get the feel of the book again :-)
