For some maybe - seems a lot of bother to me. Thankfully, I have a largely uncomplicated relationship with my partner, but I have known many people who follow this cycle.
No relationship is without it trials and tribulations, but it is how you deal with them. If you can get through a relationship with the minimum of projectile objects exchanged,then you aren't doing too badly :-)
