Tomorrow is Mazey Day (a kind of Mardi Gras in Penzance - one of the towns that I live near) and it promises to be a wash out. We have had torrential rain on and off for the last 24 hours, with more to follow. If it continues to be crappy, I might just not go and wait until Lafrowda (a small scale Mardi Gras, but in St Just - a further flung town in far south west Cornwall). I am also getting ready to go to London, spending my birthday in the smoke. It will be weird, because I am going to a mass birthday party at Hubby's former firm - who he has stayed in contact with.
There will be twin sisters aged 60 and an 83 year old from France whose birthdays happen to be on the same day - it will be strange as I have been invited...because it is my birthday too. Prodigal 2 is looking after the house and I will probably will have another birthday with my family when I get back home :-)
