I really had no idea that Richard D. James was from Lanner - self described as an annoying ginger kid from Cornwall, who should have been locked up in a youth detention centre decades ago.  A former DJ in my hometown St Ives, he went on to bigger and better things.

Way to go, Richard - have posted video under cut as it is probably NSFW :-)

LOL - difficult not to know someone who knows someone else here. Dodgy video besides, I like 'Windowlicker,' not so keen on the rest. He was part of a supporting act of the Bjork gig I went to 11 years ago. Hurt my ears alas :-/

oh that's a shame. A friend of mine went to see him in Bristol and he didn't get to the stage until after midnight, so perhaps live events are not his forté. I loved his early stuff (Digeridoo, Donkey Rhubarb) but lost interest more recently. He seems a sound bloke though.

LOL - you sound almost shocked, Mr P. I agree - the video is unsettling, but very effective. Not particularly subtle :-)
