Am still at college, awaiting my lift. Over-stretched and over-tired but worse of all, nursing a massive headache. Nearly knocked myself out yesterday - crown made contact with top of granite lintel. Saw stars, stripes, flowers etc. I am ok, mildly concussed at worst - but am bruised, fuzzy with pain over the bridge of my nose. Plus side for attending today ::: at least I have sussed out the Plymouth portals and have accessed both Blackwells and Cambridge Online, thanks to librarian. Now I have a handful of critical essays on Bluebeard that I couldn't access before.

Oh no! I read this this morning and really felt for you. Funny, but I twice hit my head on things today - no real injury though - just a pain. Hope you are all better now.

I feel for you too - you feel such an idiot, don't you? Top of my head is still tender. It's a quiet day for me today, which is just as well.

Hey you! How tall are you? or was it a medieval lintel? WATCH IT!!! and at least it was only your frontal lobes that suffered,... that's better than whopping your temples. (that's just the filing cabinet of the head! the front bits)

Stay loose... and rest if you have concussion.. do NOT TAKE EXERCISE.. you'll end up with a very poorly head system. I did and regretted it for ten twelve years... migraini horribilii!!! or whatever. FEARFUL ones.

Take Care... XXXXXXX Looloo.

I am 5ft 8in and I live in an old cottage with low slung doorways. I misjudged it, because I was circumnavigating another object (Prodigal 2, who was standing in the way).

Funny you should say about bangs on heads and migraines. Hubby had a car accident about 14 years ago, came out ok, but with a bit of whiplash. Never had migraines before that, then had a succession of them. He doesn't get them anymore, but finds that he is sensitive to bright lights.

I get migraines - terrible in my teens and twenties, subsided a lot in my thirties. Alas in my forties, they are back again :-/

Haha that explains it... the cottage sounds gorgeous! but.....!!

I hope Prodigal 2 was suitably caring!!!

And the migraines - god they're AWFUL... but I had acupuncture for mine and they went!!! After TEN YEARS OF HELL. Crippling HELL!!! All the time and worse ones every ten days until I couldn't even see, or hardly walk... god.

With the acupuncture they just deliciously faded away each session until .... oh glory be, I've not had another (I did have 'hints' sometimes when I found I was allergic to citrus fruits and instant coffee... but even those have gone!)

Oh it's hell. I hated me, the world, the whole existence thing when I had mine. Banging heads on walls... aaarrghhh. I SO sympathise. But I can definitely recommend Acupuncture... it is painless and not a bit scare like sticking needles in oneself... honestly... and there's such a feeling of relaxation and peace after a session. blooming bliss.

Look after yourself... and have a lovely weekend... weather here is 27 sunny and hot. I'm going to sunbathe!!!!
