1) What was the last book you read? Any current books?

My book pile this year is positively teetering and the truth is, I haven't got the time to read everything that I need to read.  Mostly at the moment, it is variations on the Bluebeard fairy tale for my ILS module; namely Perrault and Grimm, plus Angela Carter and others thrown in.  I have to reread Sexing the Cherry by Jeanette Winterson, to see if it truly has any bearing on this and also Jeffrey Eugenides' The Virgin Suicides.  Aside from academic study, I am trying to cram in a book on James Boswell and Kate Mosse's Mistletoe Bride.  Reading is meant to be for leisure, isn't it?

Sounds very hectic! I hope you get to read for pleasure at some point too :-)

I will be doing the academic reading all of this weekend, but save my chill-out books for bedtime :-)
