Steve Strange Weekend I - Visage: Fade To Grey

I was 13 when I first heard Visage's Fade to Grey.  To me, it was the most amazing sound I had ever heard - it gave me goosebumps and to me it heralded the synth sound of the eighties.  I am so sad to hear of Steve Strange's death.  RIP Steve - mysterious face of my teens (although he looks like Mick Karn at 2:40).

Uncannily like Fade to Grey - can't remember if it came out the same time or not, but it does sound like a Steve Strange rip off.  Still like it, though.

i think he as been messed up for quite a while now , probably with all the drugs that he has took over the years but i do like his music x

Yes - on all kinds of happy tabs etc. I think of Adam Ant and his struggles too - people like Adam and Steve Strange were quite creative and individualistic, but paid the ultimate price of stardom. Still, I loved Strange's creative imput and it's a shame.
