I can identify with this to a degree.  I am not a fanfic writer, but would love to share my stuff online.  However, I fear exactly the same as the OP above.  I know there are number of people who have fanficked themselves to the top (E.L. James, I am looking at you), but I am not sure I want to share my stuff in case it gets swiped.  Again, in this day and age, how are you meant to have an online presence re work?  I hope the OP gets the kudos he/she needs - but right now, I share that frustration.

Free the Plot Bunnies, I say :-)

Does it MATTER if you get plagiarised? Flattery and all that... and if someone THINKS they will get kudos and blessings for nicking your Muse they'll get found out and be cursed!!!

And once its out and written... you can't be so CROOOL as to let it die, starved, strangled, anorexic.... fading to nothing in the darkness of your unlovely pc? Let it out into the SUN... shine on US poor souls who are starving for the light of Brilliance!!!!

We used quotes from long-dead authors, we lift our plots (pwp?) from them or life... we nick stuff from all over.

If anyone wants to take my efforts lock stock and misplaced comma they are welcome.... Cos I've already forgotten I've written it.

\Come here, little bunnies. Come to momma here and we'll romp in green fields and make daisy chains for your pretty ears.........

I think I will write something soon - I have submitted a couple of pieces as part of my writing module for this year. I'll have a look for some of my stuff on the PC :-)
