Despite having a wonderful Mother's Day, I am feeling really unwell, suffering AGAIN with extreme exhaustion. I have been in bed since 6:30, slept a bit now listening listlessly to a repeat of Desert Island Discs featuring Kingsley Amis.

Why am I feeling like this?

Good to hear that there are people who still like to read books in paperback form :-)

Erm... Ahem... dare I say it??? YOU MUST NOT DO SO MUCH!

Brainwear is WEARING! Exhausting... it uses lots of Calories and stuff. And the tension and stress that goes with hard complicated thinking... that is exhausting too.
You're running at athletes effort level! I marvel at what you're doing with this course and you have so MUCH to study!

I do think you should have a portion of a day or one day a week when YOU DO NOT DO ANYTHING! (apart from normal houseworky cooky things... that don't need THINKING!!!!)

Seriously... I do worry... I WORRY cos I couldn't do a FRACTION of all that you do.

Oh spoil yourself.... HUGS and v-brings a lovely cuppa!!!

Aww you are sweet Looloo - I will have to look into my diet and see if I need a boost somewhere. If this doesn't improve, I will pay the quacks a visit. I just seem to be more prone to keeling over than I used to. You are right, the course can be very challenging and I am trying to keep an eye on John too.

I was meant to be at college today, but the car is in dock - so I will potter a little, but still need to do some coursework, probably need more breaks :-)

Hey, it's the first time I've seen your page so don't know what's happening in your life, but I've felt the same recently. Physically fit but mentally exhausted and without even realising it for a long, long time.

Remember you need to rest your mind as well as your body. :)

Hello - I am a mature student doing an English degree. Hubby had cancer just before Christmas, but all is ok for now. Think it is a combo of crap diet, fretting and too much academic work. I am making the plates spin but I am knackered to the bone LOL :-)

Just read some of your journal - don't give up. You can make this into a happy journal, post things that you want to post (videos pictures, cartoons) and it will become a place that you will like because it will reflect YOU.
