Eight days, I ask you! Gone are the days when I knocked 'em out in five.This piece has been subjected to a number of rewrites - not JUST editing, but actually whole chunks being retyped.  If the wallpaper is as hideous as the one above, then I can understand her gradual trip to Loony Central. I have been on this since about 10 this morning - my reasoning is that if I start too early, I burn out too quickly.

I think I have dones really well today, probably 4/5ths done before I add essay observation, plus a line from Ibsen will be a good idea.  However, I ache from being lashed to this bloody desk all day (9 hours all told). I will treat myself to tonights Inspector Montalbano

Re the typing, I actually type quite fast; I only realised I was typing cocomparatively slowly when I was listening back to a recording I did of The Yellow Wallpaper on dictaphone. I could hear myself typing in the background!

Re Montalbano - that's what I did!

I feed what I want to say through Google translate. Salvo, either commit to Livia or cut her loose - because every woman that you sleep with either is a bad 'un or winds up dead,or in some cases - BOTH!

AND they've changed Livia too! Not that he took any notice.

He's very descriptive of my typing... his feet make mistakes and lots of back-pedalling is required.

And I shall have to watch this Montalbano... he came and went a while back, but he MAY be on some other channel! I did like him... heh heh ... but didn't follow sufficiently I fear.

(He didn't notice the change? Well, there's that saying,... you don't look at the mantelpiece when you poke the fire.... if that isn't just toooo crude?)

And you don't touch-type? Point, poke and peer? oh lor love. Oh I know you're frantically busy, but touch typing won't half save you LOADS of hours!!! LOADS...

Do you play the piano tho? Cos touch-typing wrecks the fingering and you can't make chords and left-hand WITH right-hand...So beware!
