Gilda Radner: "Mr. Death, will you give me a kiss goodnight?"
Christopher Lee: "Penny, don't press your luck!"

He was supposed to be Gandalf, by which I mean he said hew knew Tolkien and said the professor said he should be Gandalf in a movie version.

Bye Christopher!

I didn't know that, thanks for sharing the info. I really liked his work. In recent times, he has played the most excellent characters (esp LOTR), but I liked him in the Burton films too. Hopefully, he didn't suffer too much.

I hope not. It hurt to see his hands sometimes, they looked so arthritic & swollen.

Talking of Gandalf, Sir Ian Mckellen came home to Wigan on Monday . We have a walk of fame were many famous wigan people have a star put into the pavement like they do in America and he came to view his on Monday .

I like Ian McKellen - a very versatile actor.
