Good old Lewes. THAT is a SPLENDID GUY.... !!!! Quite SPLENDID and so FITTING!
I remember Lewes for the BANGERS they used to make, bloody dangerous things you lobbed at knee level with your gloved hands. I don't think Elf and Sifety allow them any more. I liked being FireGirl tho... a fryingpan with bent handle tied to a tall stick and pockets filled with paper sweety bags filled with gunpowder and iron and some other filings. When touched to my Fag.. the paper would be bunged quickly into the frypan and held aloft... and a huge coloured blaze of green or a lurid Heliotrope would ensue. Burnt out the bottom of the frypan beautifully!
