Welcome to the Midnight Oil.  I have finished my essay and I can say with hand on heart, it is probably as bad as one of my first year essays.  I don't mind that so much, I just hope I haven't made any bad slip ups at have it capped at 40% - that would be truly dreadful.  I had to convert it to a PDF and upload it to Moodle.

Now wait.  And pray.

He he he - this reads a bit like you were on something too!!! Congrats.. YOU DUNNIT! and I'm sure - as seems to be the case nearly always, when you feel you've done badly, it turns out the opposite and you get kudos! Shall keep certain items on my LUCKY shelf for you. (I can't type with fingers crossed, or eyes!)

I promise you that the 'Shakespehrian Rag' quote was from 'The Waste Land', not that I had totally gone round the bend.

Ahhh.. I've not got anywhere near that yet... am beta'ing in haste and oh lor.. RL keeps sending me visitors who chat all day! teehee.

I SHALL lock myself away and read the whole of The Waste Land sloooowly and thoroughly... I think over Christmas... isolation is what I NEED at that 'special' time.

I've just downloaded and printed out on PAPER the whole of TWL from Gutenberg... twenty pages, but then I have lots of scribble space at the sides. I intend to enjoy this. Gutenberg does have some notes for reference as well... it HELPS!

But one has also to put onself into the 'timeline' he was occupying at the time too.... we've forgotten what was going on at the time that upset him so, as well. It's certainly not a slick read which is what I did the first time round -- erm 50 years ago?

Have a lovely day love....
