The ink hasn't dried that long before I have an email reminding me that my first 1,000 words for the major dissertation are to be written, emailed and then brought to a meeting by 10 am Monday morning.  That means I have to catch the 07:50 train.  Plus, my major diss partner has emailed her pirce to me for a read - which is far more eloquent than what I can put together at short notice.

I am pleased that I have Audible at my disposal, as I have listened but lost the will to live to John Polidori's The Vampire and am part the way through Sheridan Le Fanu's Carmilla.  Plus I am out for dinner tomorrow.  Well, best get on with some of it - it is not like I am being marked for it, but I do need to have something to show them.

243 words and a few academic essays to look through.  Will have to pull the stops out tomorrow before six AND read my dissertation partner's work too.

I have uploaded Samuel Taylor Coleridge's 'Christabel', Lord Byron's 'Darkness' and Goethe's 'The Bride of Corinth'.  Let it be said that I don't go in for easy reading - STC's manuscript is over 20 A4 printed pages long!!!
