25. What do you think about more than anything else? Truthfully? How I look forward to writing for pleasure, not a deadline and how I can go back to arts and crafts and create something I am proud of :-)
This is one of the reason I stopped writing professionally. It got to a point of where I was tired of writing what other people wanted me to or and when. It's much more fun now, so be brave and keep at it. Soon!
I have a journalism degree and worked for the paper. I did articles on everything from abuse to people being unable to actually get trash in the trash cans. I also freelanced for tech theatre magazines and that was sort of fun, but I really didn't get into the nuts and bolts of the sound systems.
I'm much happier now playing and writing when and what I want. Although I did have some great classes in College, though, and it really expanded my frame of reference more than once.
I am hoping that the close reading and analysis will contribute to being a better writer. That is what is keeping me going - the fact that this will be done in 6 months and I will never have to do it again.
