I *loved* Northern Exposure. I'm always sad that I didn't get to watch it as often as I'd have liked. And I worry now that if I were to go back and watch it, it would have lost its magic.

It totally made me want to move to Alaska.

I have rewatched it and I still love it. Obviously things have dated a little, but it is still increadible. I am really miffed that I can't show the 'northern lights' episode, where Chris-in-the-morning rigs the town with lights. Youtube policies have axed it :-(

It made me want to move to Alaska - then I found out it was shot in Washington. All of the beautiful scenery was Alaska though :-)

When we went there, it reminded me a lot of Lake Tahoe. With the exception of the glaciers, which Tahoe certainly feels cold enough to entertain...
