I gather there's a lot of nastiness about? Oh dear me. It was hardly a definitive result was it? six of one half, dozen of the other... someone is going to have to rebuild from the bottom up... but WHO???? Labour don't want dear kind gentle Jeremy... and who is going to replace Camercon? May? (Oh GOD help us... a shrill woman in charge? {and maybe one in the White House too..})

I'm just going to keep my head down and start filling in Naturalisation forms... might as well... meant to do it twenty years ago but life and ex got in the way. I fancy being a French Piece...

I wonder if they'll change the horrible red passports back to those unwieldy but NICE blue ones? Might be worth the £85 plus POSTAGE+++ ! I had a personal delivery -- PERSONAL!!!! by hand of a diplomatic courier just 18 months ago with my renewed tatty little red book. Diplomatic courier.. not even TNT or whoever. I sometimes wonder.......

Terrible ugliness, Looloo. I have got rid of FB off my phone and periodically deactivate it on the pc. It appears you can be vilified for sitting on the fence. People REALLY want to know your politics these days, so they have someone to blame. It's not enough to have a dignified silence.

There's been a lot of nastiness. Less up where I am in Scotland as we totally sided with remaining, but further South I know areas are getting vicious for the remain vs leave camps. It's not helping the chaos the two main parties are in. We really need to try and get out house in order before sitting at the table with the EU- who also look like they're having the beginning of a crisis. Especially with rumours of some of the Eastern European countries allegedly looking at forming their own bloc.

Well said. The EU is in shock, the UK parties are in a mess. So many clashing egos, so little real thought - just platitudes and sound bites :-/
