Well, 2.6 million to be exact.  After a lot of umming and ahhing, the Chilcot Report is out and it is pretty damning and far from being a whitewash.  So many conflicting intelligence reports, so many disasterous decisions made, so many lies manufactured and, more critically, the lives lost on the back of those mistakes.  I could go on and on criticising various governments both here and overseas, but I think that the various papers/media has done that already.

Thankfully, it does seem that Chilcot really DID underline the truth and pulled no punches in revealing it to the public, no matter how damaging.  However, I think that the attention NOW should be given to the men and women who lost their lives in the war (both soldiers and victims alike), borne out of both governments' deadly (and wholly fictional) premise and to the families who are left behind.
