We are currently being driven potty by the dog residing at the holiday rental cottage next door.  It does nothing but bark - doesn't like being left alone and every sound sets it off.  I am usually quite tolerant to the holiday makers - next door is a second home and they only let family members and friends use it.  Right now though, it is grating on my senses and am on the verge of phoning up the original owners asking who is in and why is the dog continually kicking off?  Poor dog is probably frightened and wants it's owners to stay at home and eat.

Rant over.

Here we have a little implement that you can press a button, or leave switched on! that will send a 'command' by sound or something that will stop the sod barking. (bad mannered dog...and even worse humans, they should take the bloody thing with them!)

Tis ten quid... so why should YOU have to pay out!!!? If I were there, I'd stand outside and every time it barked I'd kick the damn door. by the end of the day it'd shut up from sheer frustration and realising that no one was coming in!

I did have one, ages ago, but of course, didn't need it when I moved. It did work. my goodness. just point it in the general direction, push button and sudden SILENCE!!

Have you got a gun??????? teeheee.

HUGS love, do sympathise.

L.OL - I don't blame the dog, it was on its own in a new place, everything unfamiliar. I might have a word if I see them, indeed I will make it my business to see them if they stay out tonight, leaving it barking and howling again. Something simple such as leaving the light and radio on can make a difference.

When people travel, they need to be more mindful of their pets. Poor dog and poor you! they need a smack

I don't blame the dog, but I will be bopping its owners with a rolled-up newspaper if this is on for a third night.

Hear, hear, no pun intended! When an animal misbehaves, it's rarely the animal's fault.
