Major Dissertation: Rewriting Chapter 1 - Day 2

I was up early(ish) this morning and have spent it reading up Cixous, which was interesting and I think I can use some of it.  I am concentrating on rewriting a section of it as I know it veers off topic - still relevent but I either have to tighten it up, or let it go.  I have beem told that it will possibly be too much to have ALL the symbolism in, so I will have to lose quite a bit in the slash-and-burn edited cut.

So, still plodding on - think I will have to lose close to 1,500 before I start digging for sprinkles of academe.  Sigh.

Not doing too badly today - I am editing page four of fourteen and hope to be on page five when I finish tonight. EDIT::: On page six for tomorrow - yay!
