I went to Looe and Polperro yesterday.  I haven't been for over fifteen years, think I dragged my youngest there when he was five years old.  It was a beautiful day and I came away with a fistful of photos and a load of fudge.  Walked for miles, did me a world of good.

prettier than I remember too, several people I know went to Looe on holiday this year which I thought was weird, but it looks lovely in your photos

I have been to Looe twice before - once when I was 16, then again about 15 odd years ago. I thought of it as grey, gritty and not particularly attractive. Now, it looks gorgeous - beautiful stretches of water either side of Looe Bridge and some lovely winding streets before the sands. In some respects, I found Looe more peaceful and not as claustrophobic as picturesque Polperro. It was all nice, though - I might return on a coach trip next year :-)
