27) What is to the right of you?

My desk is an absolute mess at the moment. It goes something like this : book A History of English Literature; another book Dickens In His Time; FdA English Studies Diary Year 2; a book stand; 2 scarves and a pair of fingerless gloves (it can get cold in here); a folder and 2 ongoing assignment folders.

Oh and this place mat.

I bought a series of mats from the local garden centre - most of them were retro adverts for Bovril etc. I saw that one and smiled - definitely been and done and have no interested in rinse and repeating :-)

The experience of having good chemistry is mind-blowing, but if later that chemistry covered the fact that they are an absolute nightmare, then it is like having a great birthday present and then it blows up in your face. I don't think you can reflect on such a mercurial relationship, until you are well shot of it, but you can still get value from the intense experience it gave you :-)
