I have taken the week off uni as I haven't been so well.  Hopefully, this will be sorted out when I have some hospital tests in December.  I had a message from my former lecturer asking me if I had any photos of Porthleven.  I hadn't, but decided that I hadn't been out to take some photos for a while.  I headed down there today and it is dark, raw and cold, not to mention windy.  It is the sublime in nature at it's fullest extent.  I needed to get away from my work for a while and get some fresh air in any case.

Sometimes, you need a different perspective. Anyway, the bulk of my photos are HERE

Thanks Jonny - I have become lactose-intolerant and am going for further tests. They think I might have IBS, there isn't any worrying markers in my blood tests - so I think it's not too serious.

Owww sorry love, hope its all better now. Horrid for you!

Porthleven.. it looks almost the same as when I went in October...except there is the Gale Warning signs up! I fell in love with the wall, all that iron rusting and the lichens and rusted mooring catches. Thanks, and I hope the trot around helped ckear the head and the exercise the rest of you.

I really enjoyed see the Red Telephone box WITH A PHONE IN IT!!! XXXXX

I must admit that the telephone boxes are becoming few and far between. In rural communities, some are being used as second-hand book repositories.
