Rare quiet moment between trains - don't ever listen to the automated announcement as it is very wrong.  Will tell you that there are no trains due, but not that they won't go whizzing past.  As this is a branch line with a one way track, I am perfectly safe, but I have to still keep quiet, listen to the lines and wait for the train to pass.

I just love the symmetry of it :-)

I envy you the train, probably just cause I will never have the chance to take one around here. I suppose they could be boring or frustrating if they were something you had to do everyday. I like your photos.

The branch line is primarily used in the summertime as it ferries the holiday makers from the nearby park-and-ride. It was used more about 30 years ago when the buses used to be one an hour. Right now, it is fairly quiet - with some day trippers.
