OK Mr Fry - I am dreaming about you again.  Always on a bus too.  Admittedly, this business of not having my own car is getting to me and Jungianists would say that this would represent my lack of motivation.  As a well-known Oxford grad, it is not therefore unusual to have this man as influence in my dream - however, also with Kate Bush's music.  He did a voice over for 50 words For Snow but not Joanni which is the music I heard in my dream last night.

How strange.  Pleasant but strange. For the record, I bear no resemblance to Joan of Ark (the 'Joanni' of Kate's song), nor the celebrities mentioned.

That's terrible. We don't have a lot of US news coverage here in the UK - unless it is something that would concern us. I realised long ago that the BBC and SKY networks are selective with what they televise. Footage of the Ferguson problem turn up on FB and Youtube, as so does various GM crop scandals, yet the media here remains remarkably silent on the matter.

In fact, one of the better news channels I can pick up on satellite is 'Russia Today'amongst others.

I have dreamed about Stephen Fry too, but I was somewhat obsessed with him when younger and met him in Norwich. I'm glad to hear there is music in your dreams.

What's going on with the car? Hope you get one soon and that everything settles down x

The 'Stephen Fry' connection is definitely bound with my education. Never really thought of him much til 'QI' started, then I was hooked. I just love his word play (there, I've said it). The music is a welcome addition.

The car saga is a nightmare, primarily because of where we live. I am looking for a Polo/Golf/Whatever hatchbak thingummy around the £2,000 - 3,000 mark. All the better possibilities are in Plymouth. Because I am in the last month of doing my work, I haven't had tme to search properly and J isn't well enough to travel far (he has had two cancellations re his corrective op and it is rescheduled again for this week).

I only got £43 for her, which is sad, plus I am waiting for the road tax to come back on it. Other than that, I am reliant on J to drive around, then I have got his car until he has fully recouperated enough to drive again.

I hope there are no more cancellations and you find a car soon, it's difficult when you've got so much else on your plate. I know how difficult Cornwall is if you have to rely on public transport :-(

Thanks Beth - I hope so too. Just asked a friend who is in Plymouth re car sales and she is looking into it for me :-)
